12th Annual Avionics International Forum Was Successfully Held in Shanghai

On May 29th, 2023, C919, a new generation of domestically-developed civil aircraft, successfully completed its first commercial flight, marking its official entry into the civil aviation market and beginning a new journey of market-oriented operation and industrial development. The advanced avionics systems used in the C919 large passenger aircraft play an important role in improving flight safety and efficiency. This milestone achievement also provides valuable practical experience and technological accumulation for China's avionics industry.

In order to jointly promote the innovation of aircraft aviation electronic technology and achieve  "green flight". The 12^th Annual Avionics International Forum 2023 was successfully held on June 29th, 2023 in Shanghai, with the participation of major aircraft development companies and key participants in avionics systems from both domestic and international arenas.

The forum was hosted by Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Chinese Aeronautical Establishment, AVIC Airborne Systems Co., Ltd.; guested by Shanghai Aircraft Airworthiness Certification Center of CAAC; supported by Shanghai Society of Aeronautics, COMAC Shanghai Aircraft Design and Research Institute, COMAC Shanghai Aircraft Customer Service Co., Ltd., AVIC XAC Commercial Aircraft Co., Ltd., AVIC Zhuhai General Aviation R&D and Manufacturing Base, China Helicopter Research and Development Institute; organized by China Aeronautical Radio Electronics Research Institute, AVIC Xi’an Aeronautics Computing Technique Research Institute, AVIC Hefei Hangtai Electrophysics Co., Ltd., Key Laboratory of Integrated Technology of Avionics System, Key Laboratory of ATM Avionics Technology, CAAC, National Key Laboratory of Electromagnetic Information Control and Effects, Galleon (Shanghai) Consulting Co., Ltd. With the theme of "Intelligent Avionics Empowering Green Flight", this forum invited more than 40 industry experts to speak, and attracted approximately 500 representatives from government bureaus, avionics main system manufacturers, cockpit system business, intelligent manufacturing company, airborne hardware and software R&D manufacturer and other authoritative experts in the industry.mOn June 28^th , the Main Forum and Symposium on Avionics System Testing Technology were held concurrently. On June 29^th, the 6th Annual Airborne Software and Airborne Electronic Hardware Sub-Forum and The First Avionics Youth Forum were held in parallel with the Main Forum. The forum focused on six areas: Cockpit System, GNC, Avionics Testing, eVTOL / UAV Avionic, Data and Sensing, Avionics Advanced Manufacturing, and airborne hardware and software R&D manufacturer. Participants discussed and explored new directions and trends in the development of avionics technology, and worked together to contribute to the development of China's avionics industry.
