AVIAGE SYSTEMS Participated in CAIF 2018

Civil Avionics International Forum 2018 has been successfully held in Shanghai on April 17 to 18, 2018. This conference attracted more than 500 guests from national authorities, international organizations, related enterprises and scientific research institutes to gather together. Discussion topics mainly focused on the airworthiness requirements of civil avionics systems, trends of new avionics technologies, the virtual test flight system, simulation technology for civil aircraft, aviation digital technologies, the safety and reliability of test aircraft operations and MRO, aiming to accelerate the development of China civil avionics industry.

This forum was jointly organized by Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Chinese Aeronautical Establishment and China Aeronautical Radio Electronics Research Institute. AVIAGE SYSTEMS participated in this conference as an international Tier-1 civil avionics solution provider and one of the organizing committee members.

The two-day CAIF2018 Forum provided an excellent platform to participants to communicate through thematic reports, paper publication, interactive discussions and product demonstrations. In this forum, AVIAGE SYSTEMS presented the IMA technology based on the open architecture of common computing resource and ADN network on the booth. The demo of weather radar A708 to A661 protocol conversion host application on IMA demonstrated the openness and the advantages by using AVIAGE SYSTEMS avionics solution.

Ms. Grace Jiang, the Director of Digital Technologies at AVIAGE SYSTEMS, was also invited to give a speech about the digital aviation ecosystem at the conference. The speech centered on Industry 4.0 and discussed in depth the application of digital technology in aviation. The theme aroused the resonance of industry experts. Grace answered the questions of several participants on site and gained positive response.
