The Second Preparatory Work Meeting of 8th Civil Avionics International Forum Was Held in Shanghai

On March 5^th, 2019, the second preparatory work meeting of 8th Civil Avionics International Forum was held in Shanghai.

YANG Liang, Director of the Comprehensive Management Department of the Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics attended the meeting on behalf of the Forum organizers. Representatives of the forum Organizing Committee are from China Commercial Aircraft Shanghai Aircraft Design and Research Institute, AVIC XAC Commercial Aircraft Co., Ltd., AVIC Zhuhai General Aviation R&D and Manufacturing Base, China Helicopter Design Institute, Aviation Industry Xi'an Institute of Aeronautical Computing Technology, Aviation Industry Xi'an Flight Automatic Control Research Institute, China Electronic Technology Corporation Avionics, AVIC LEIHUA Electronic Technology Research Institute, AVIC Suzhou Changfeng Avionics Co., Ltd., AVIC Shaanxi Baocheng Aviation Instrument Co., Ltd., AVIC Hefei Hangtai Electrophysics Co., Ltd., Shanghai Aviation Electric Co.,Ltd., China Eastern Airlines Co., Ltd., Eastern Airlines Technology Corporation, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Honeywell Aerospace , US L3 Technologies, AVIC Radio Electronics Institute and Galleon Shanghai Consulting Co.,Ltd.. There are a total of 34 people attending the meeting.

Since its inception in 2012, the Civil Avionics International Forum has attracted more than 3,000 participants. Civil aircraft avionics systems reached a stage of rapid development under the requirements of high security, low cost and intelligence.

In order to explore the greater business opportunities in the civil aviation electronics industry, the 8^th Civil Avionics International Forum will be held in Shanghai from April 16^th to 17^th, 2019, and the "Airborne Software and Electronic Hardware Sub-forum" will be held concurrently.
