Airbus Strengthens Its Partnership With China

Airbus has strengthened its partnership with China's aviation industry, and has signed new agreement with AVIC to deepen industrial cooperation on Airbus single aisle production. The agreement was signed in front of Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and visiting German Chancellor Angela Merkel at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

The cooperation with AVIC will improve Airbus Single Aisle aircraft (A319/A320) fuselage equipping in Tianjin, China. The first delivery of a China-equipped Airbus Single Aisle aircraft (A319/A320) fuselage is slated in the second quarter of 2021.

The partnership between Airbus and Chinese aviation industry on commercial aircraft dates back to 1985 at the signing of the first sub-contracting agreement with Xi'an Aircraft Company (currently AVIC Aircraft Co.Ltd) on manufacturing and assembling access doors for Airbus A300/A310 wide-body aircraft.

Under this background, the "2019 Civil Aircraft Industry International Forum(CAIIF 2019)" is scheduled to be held in Xi'an on September 26^th -27^th, 2019, which will talk about Airworthiness Certification about China and in Global as well. CAIIF 2019 will bring together 200 delegates from Government Agencies, Regional Civil Aviation Bureau, Domestic and Foreign Airlines, Industry Association and Alliance, Airborne Interconnect System Integrator, Aircraft Manufacturer, Third Party Service Company, Aero Engine Company, Assembly Center, The Boeing Company, Airbus all together to sit down and discuss about the problems we’re facing now in Certification, Aircraft Design and Manufacture, Airborne Systems.
