Recently, Chengdu Airlines Co., Ltd. underwent a business registration change, with its registered capital increasing from 680 million yuan to 2 billion yuan, a rise of approximately 194%. The 1.32 billion capital injection was jointly contributed by three shareholders: Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC), Sichuan Airlines Group, and Chengdu Communications Investment Aviation Investment Group. Following this capital increase, COMAC remains the largest shareholder of Chengdu Airlines.
Headquartered in Chengdu, Sichuan, Chengdu Airlines operates its main base at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport. Its business scope includes domestic and international passenger and cargo air transport services, as well as import and export of aviation equipment. The airline is also the first operator of the domestically developed C909 aircraft. As of December 2024, Chengdu Airlines' fleet consists of 81 aircraft (including 51 Airbus A320 series planes and 30 C909 aircraft).
Base on this background, the Aircraft Value Management International Forum 2026 will be held on March 19th-20th, in Xiamen City, Fujian Province, China.The forum will focus on the construction of civil aircraft full life-cycle management system, and how to develop the most optimal plan for the disposal of aircraft assets according to their usage.
