HAECO announced a new component maintenance agreement with Safran Electronics & Defense Actuation Systems to support the Airbus A320 and A330 aircraft. Under the agreement, the two companies will collaborate to provide comprehensive repair and overhaul services for flight control and actuation components, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for operators in the Asia-Pacific region.

Prior to this agreement, HAECO had also established partnerships with Safran on other aircraft maintenance projects, including being authorised by Safran Aerosystems to develop maintenance capabilities for the C919 evacuation slide, and collaborating with Safran Aircraft Engines on the installation of the Reverse Bleed System on LEAP engines. This new agreement further strengthens the cooperation between the two companies, highlighting their shared commitment to delivering high-quality, localised maintenance solutions that meet the evolving needs of global operators and customers.
The 31st Maintenance and Spares Support Conference will be held in Haikou on November 25-26, focusing on industrial development and technical exchanges in civil aviation maintenance and spares support.
