Chengdu Breaks Ground on New Aviation Equipment Manufacturing Industry-Education Integration Base with RMB 120 Million Investment

Recently, construction is progressing rapidly on the Aviation Equipment Manufacturing Industry-Education Integration Base, a project invested with RMB 120 million by Chengdu Aeronautic Polytechnic University.

According to available information, the project covers an area of approximately 20,000 square meters. Construction commenced in January of this year, with the main structure topped out in June. The project is currently undergoing secondary structure work and mechanical and electrical installation, and is scheduled for completion and commissioning in November 2026. "Subsequent efforts will proceed in tandem with the installation of training equipment and the development of the teaching environment," said Tang Shouhai, the project's construction director.

Located within the Sichuan Chengdu Aviation Industrial Park in the Xindu High-tech Zone, the facility, once completed, will assume responsibility for professional training in aviation equipment manufacturing, with a focus on cultivating high-end skilled talent, including aviation manufacturing technicians, maintenance engineers, and field engineers.
