Skyco Leasing Delivers First A321neo to Wizz Air

Recently, at the Airbus factory in Toulouse, France, Skyco International Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. ("Skyco Leasing") delivered one brand-new Airbus A321neo aircraft to Hungarian airline Wizz Air. This is the first aircraft delivered under the sale-and-leaseback project for four A321neo aircraft that Skyco Leasing won from Wizz Air last year, representing another achievement for Nansha-based enterprises in Guangzhou in deeply integrating into the global aviation industry chain.

Deepening Industrial Synergy and Accessing the European Market

Wizz Air, headquartered in Budapest, is one of the three largest low-cost carriers in Europe and holds strong brand influence and market competitiveness in the European civil aviation market.

In 2025, Skyco Leasing conducted multiple rounds of commercial negotiations with Wizz Air, focusing on key areas such as asset pricing, lease term structure optimization, and full-process risk management and control. Ultimately, Skyco Leasing stood out and successfully won the sale-and-leaseback project for four A321neo aircraft in October of that year.

In August this year, after completing a full set of stringent technical inspections, the first A321neo aircraft was officially delivered and simultaneously commenced lease. From the successful bid to the smooth delivery of the first aircraft, Skyco Leasing has demonstrated its deep involvement in international aviation finance competition through market-oriented operations, built a cooperation bridge between Guangdong Province and Hungary to deepen aviation industry synergy, and contributed to enhancing the international aviation resource allocation capabilities of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
