Air Cambodia to Take Delivery of First Two C909s This November

Air Cambodia is expected to take delivery of its first two C909 aircraft in November 2026, with the remaining eight confirmed orders to be delivered progressively by 2029.

Sin Chansereyuth, spokesperson for the State Secretariat of Civil Aviation of Cambodia (SSCA), stated that two additional C909 aircraft are scheduled for delivery in 2027, three in 2028, and the final three in 2029.

On July 17, 2026, Air Cambodia and Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) officially signed a purchase agreement for 20 C909 aircraft in Shanghai. The signing marked Air Cambodia as the first foreign flag carrier to place a batch order for China's C909 aircraft.

Previously, Air Cambodia had published an announcement on its official WeChat public account, openly recruiting C909 Captains and First Officers.
