Galleon's Singapore MRO Trip: Connecting Asia-Pacific and Deepening International Cooperation in Smart Aviation and MRO
From September 20 to 24, 2026, Galleon traveled to Singapore for exchanges on aviation maintenance and smart operations, establishing connections with multiple airlines, OEMs, MRO companies, and suppliers from the Asia-Pacific and Europe, accumulating international cooperation resources for the Haikou events in November this year.

Airlines engaged during this trip included Singapore Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, and Air India, with discussions centered on fleet maintenance strategies, engine shop visit arrangements, and spare parts support requirements. Taking advantage of the Irish Aviation Exchange Reception, Galleon also established connections with Enterprise Ireland and local aviation companies, covering fields such as aviation maintenance, aircraft leasing, asset trading, and materials and engineering services, laying the foundation for connecting with European airlines and lessors.
At the OEM and supplier level, during PAM APAC 2026 and MRO Asia-Pacific 2026, Galleon communicated with technology suppliers including GE Aerospace, Boeing Digital Services, Safran, Collins Aerospace, Lufthansa Technik/AVIATAR, and Airbus Skywise, and established connections with OEMs and MRO companies such as Boeing, Airbus, Rolls-Royce, Pratt & Whitney, ST Engineering, StandardAero, Taikoo Aircraft Engineering, and AAR, exchanging views on predictive maintenance, engine analytics, digital maintenance tools, supply chain support, and Asia-Pacific market positioning. These resources are highly aligned with the topics of line maintenance, spare parts mutual support, and engine maintenance focused on at the Haikou events.
Meanwhile, Galleon held in-depth exchanges with the Singapore Aerospace Engineers Association (SAEA), discussing Asia-Pacific MRO development trends, talent cultivation, and technical exchanges, and reached preliminary consensus on future cooperation directions. Next, both parties will leverage their respective resources to focus on exchanges and cooperation with airlines and aviation companies in Southeast Asia and Central Asia along the "Belt and Road" countries, bringing more international resources to the Haikou events and future activities.

These resources will be linked with the 2026 Civil Aviation Aircraft Line Maintenance and Spare Parts Mutual Support Annual Conference and the 2026 Aero Engine Maintenance Technology Conference, to be held in Haikou from November 25 to 27 this year. The former focuses on line maintenance, spare parts mutual support, and cost reduction and efficiency improvement; the latter focuses on the supply chain, costs, and core maintenance capabilities of aero engine maintenance. The Hainan Free Trade Port policies and spare parts support conditions also provide a realistic background for related discussions. The international connections established during this Singapore trip can be further aligned with the Haikou events around topics such as supply chain resilience, maintenance costs, artificial intelligence, and predictive maintenance.
In the future, Galleon will continue to play the role of an industry exchange bridge, empowering Haikou and subsequent events with international resource connections, and promoting deep cooperation between the Chinese aviation community and the international aviation community in areas such as aviation maintenance, supply chain cooperation, market positioning, and sustainable development.
