At present, the global innovation of ATM technology has entered a period of explosion. The integrated application of cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, the new generation of communication networks, satellite navigation augmentation, digital twin and multi-source perception fusion with the core ATM businesses is continuously deepening, which is reconstructing the technical architecture and operational mode of the ATM system. The implementation and application of new operational technologies such as Performance-Based Navigation (PBN), Trajectory-Based Operations (TBO) and remote virtual control are promoting the transformation of airspace resource allocation towards refinement and dynamization. Meanwhile, the rapid development of new aviation formats such as the low-altitude economy and Urban Air Mobility (UAM), coupled with the superposition of complex risks such as extreme weather and cyber security, have put forward higher technical requirements for the adaptability, compatibility, security and resilience of the ATM system. The industry's development still faces in-depth problems such as insufficient breakthroughs in core technology research, inadequate cross-domain technological integration, sluggish transformation of technological achievements into practical applications, and imperfect collaborative innovation mechanisms of the industrial chain, which urgently need to be solved through technological innovation and industrial collaboration.
