TT Electronics won Avionics Project in Shanghai

TT Electronics Integrated Manufacturing Services Limited(IMS), as an important sponsor of CAIF 2014(Civil Avionics International Forum 2014),
announced that the company received a new important business from
Shanghai Avionics Corporation on April 28th. Shanghai Avionics
Corporation is the Class A airborne avionics systems manufacturer and
supplier. China¡¯s first fully independent design modern large aircraft C919 is using this system.
Being part of China Aviation Industry Corporation (AVIC), Shanghai Avionics Corporation is a major supplier of electronics products in China market. It is a high-tech enterprise headquartered in Shanghai, specializing in the development and production of avionics and commercial electronics products, was selected as one of the onboard avionics major supplier for C919.
TT electronics naturally won the business, with its leading position in the global aerospace manufacturing field. TT Electronics was once awarded Nadcap which is the authority certification of aerospace industry, and TT Electronics was involved in C919 project earlier, including the cooperation with AVIAGE ¨C a joint venture between General Electric Company (GE) and Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC).
Zhang Jiangming, General Manager of China of TT Electronics, said:¡± We are proud to cooperate with Shanghai Avionics Corporation, together to provide part of the A-level C919 airborne avionics system, making contributions to the test flight of C919 in 2015. China aviation industry is growing rapidly, with innovation one after another. Obtained Nadcap certification is an important example that TT Electronics fulfilled the highest quality standards, help us to be able to participate in the C919 project again.¡±
