Aviage Systems, CAFUC Build Partnership

Aviage Systems has inked an official strategic collaboration agreement with the Civil Aviation Flight University of China on Tuesday in Shanghai, with an eye on jointly exploring cooperation in the research and development of aviation technologies and related product upgrades.

Extensive cooperation characterize the relationship between Aviage Systems and CAFUC in terms of information safety, artificial intelligence, civil aviation data, and integrated avionics technology. And the two sides are planning to integrate their respective technology creativity, resources and talent to assist the nation's civil aviation's innovative development, according to their agreement.

The partnership of Aviage Systems and CAFUC can be traced back to 2019, when the two signed a memorandum of strategic cooperation.

"The strategic agreement is a new attempt to upgrade our cooperation in a variety of sectors as we are seeking mutual development," said George Y. Chang, president & CEO of Aviage Systems. 

Aviage Systems is a 50-50 joint venture between General Electric (GE) and Aviation Industry Corp of China (AVIC). It provides integrated avionics solutions for the C919.
